AFTERHOURS (2010-2020)

 

Following a conversation that started during the gallery’s previous exhibition, Afterhours (2010-2020) presents a group of works by Thomas Jeppe within the installation he developed for Gennariello Part II. These selected works have been drawn from specific projects of the past decade, tracking various tendencies and productive enthusiasm over a period that opened with a financial crisis and closed with a pandemic. Afterhours (2010-2020) will be on view for a short time only, but publications and texts which were written to accompany each of these projects will soon be available in the Reading Rooms on the gallery website.

 

Suite à une conversation entre Balice Hertling et Thomas Jeppe lors de la précédente exposition à la galerie, Afterhours (2010-2020) présente un ensemble d’œuvres de l’artiste autour de l’installation qu’il a développée pour cette dernière, Gennariello II. Les œuvres sélectionnées sont extraites de projets spécifiques réalisés ces dix dernières années, retraçant diverses tendances et un enthousiasme productif sur une période qui s’est ouverte avec une crise financière et se termine sur une pandémie. Afterhours (2010-2020) sera visible pendant une courte période, mais les publications et textes qui ont été écrits pour accompagner chacun de ces projets seront bientôt disponibles dans les Reading Rooms sur le site de la galerie.
